The Foundation in Kurla West
Founded in 2004 in Kurla West, Mumbai, by Mansoor Yusuf Khanani, Silver Steps started as a focused manufacturing workshop. We began with aluminium baby ladders and built our operational discipline on hands-on metal fabrication, direct customer relationships, and uncompromising product safety.
Direct In-House Manufacturer
Silver Steps manufactures its own products and is not a reseller or broker. Every ladder is fabricated directly in our Kurla West facility from certified alloy extrusions and cold-formed solid rivets.
Aluminium Baby Ladders
Our earliest production runs focused on compact aluminium baby ladders for domestic and trade use. The rigorous stability standards perfected on these initial models laid the foundation for our entire heavy-duty product range.
Family-Led Leadership
Founded by Mansoor Yusuf Khanani (Proprietor & Technical Director) and managed alongside his son Maruf Mansoor Khanani (CFO), our enterprise couples engineering integrity on the shop floor with reliable commercial management.

2004: Founded in Kurla West (Baby Ladders)
Silver Steps was founded in 2004 by Mansoor Yusuf Khanani in Kurla West, Mumbai. We began operations by manufacturing aluminium baby ladders, establishing our identity as a genuine in-house manufacturer focused on stability, strong joints, and durable design.
Scaffolding Towers, Tilting Towers & Telescopic Ladders
We grew from baby ladders into a dedicated specialist in aluminium scaffolding tower ladders, tilting tower ladders, and telescopic ladders. Fabrication was further broadened to include non-conductive electrical-grade FRP ladders, mobile platforms, industrial aluminium towers, aluminium narrow scaffold towers, self-supporting extensions, and custom-made access equipment.

Every ladder manufactured in our Kurla West workshop is built to a standard 150 kg safe working load (SWL) with deep serrated anti-slip rungs and solid gusset bracing to protect workers at every height.
Direct In-House Manufacturing
We manufacture our own products directly in-house and are not a reseller. Safety officers, procurement managers, and commercial dealers interact directly with our factory management.
