Quality & Safety
Silver Steps builds ladders from durable aluminium and electrical-grade FRP, engineers safety features into every product, and load-tests and quality-checks each one in-house. Based in Kurla West, Mumbai, our manufacturing facility delivers verified access solutions across India with confirmed structural reliability and manufacturer-backed guarantees.
Quality Materials & Construction
Every ladder manufactured at Silver Steps is engineered from materials selected specifically for industrial structural integrity, lightweight portability, and hazard insulation.
Durable Aluminium Alloy
High-strength structural aluminium alloys deliver an outstanding strength-to-weight ratio. Engineered for daily commercial handling, resistance to site impacts, and long-term durability without rust or structural fatigue.
Electrical-Grade FRP
Non-conductive fibreglass reinforced plastic (FRP) stiles formulated with flame-retardant resins. Designed specifically for power sub-stations, switchyards, and industrial electrical maintenance where metal ladders pose a shock hazard.
Sturdy Welded & Riveted Joints
Heavy-duty solid riveting and precision joint welding eliminate lateral sway. Reinforced gusset plates at critical pivot points ensure rigid load transfer across heavy repeated use.
Safety Features Engineered In
Safety is not an afterthought; it is fabricated into each component. Every ladder profile features mechanical safeguards designed to protect workers at elevation.
Deep Serrated Rungs
Anti-slip ribbed rungs and wide standing steps provide aggressive multi-directional foot traction, even in wet or oily industrial environments.
Non-Slip Rubber Feet
Durable non-marring synthetic rubber boots wrap each stile base, preventing base kickout and protecting polished commercial flooring.
Pinch-Proof Spreaders
Heavy-duty positive locking steel spreader arms hold self-supporting step ladders firmly open without scissor pinch hazards for hands.
Load-Rated Steps
Every rung and tread is engineered and verified for industrial safe working loads, ensuring stability with tools and work gear.
In-House Quality Control & Load Testing
Before any ladder is cleared for dispatch, it completes an in-house verification workflow at our manufacturing facility.
Material Verification
Incoming alloy billets and raw composite resins undergo physical verification to ensure compliance with structural strength requirements.
Dimensional Audit
Precision measurement checks of rung spacing, stile profiles, and frame alignment tolerances across every assembled unit.
In-House Load Testing
Static proof load testing is conducted in-house on access structures to verify zero permanent deflection and complete stability.
Joint & Hinge Check
Rigorous physical inspection of all mechanical rivet joints, hinge pins, spreaders, and welded brackets under mechanical stress.
Pre-Dispatch Clearance
Affixing the serial inspection mark, safety guidance label, and completing pre-dispatch clearance for site delivery.
Certified Quality & Guaranteed Safety
Manufacturing precision backed by accredited ISO quality control processes and comprehensive 2-year warranty protections.
ISO 9001 Certified Operations
Silver Steps operates under an ISO 9001 certified quality management system covering design, procurement, assembly, and dispatch. For complete accreditation records and compliance documentation, review our dedicated credentials hub.
2-Year Manufacturer Guarantee
Every industrial ladder manufactured by Silver Steps is backed by a 2-year warranty against structural defects, material failure, and faulty workmanship under normal operating guidelines.
Using Our Ladders Safely
Equipment quality is only half of the safety equation. Following established operational rules prevents the vast majority of workplace ladder accidents.
The 4:1 Pitch Rule
For every 4 feet of vertical ladder height, place the ladder base 1 foot out from the wall to ensure stable 75-degree working angle.
Three-Point Contact
Always maintain three points of physical contact when climbing: two hands and one foot, or two feet and one hand on the rungs.
Pre-Use Inspection
Inspect stiles for damage, rungs for grease, rubber feet for wear, and spreader locks for positive engagement prior to each ascent.
Electricity Rule
CRITICAL SAFETY RULE: Never use conductive aluminium ladders near live electrical wiring or substations. Always use non-conductive FRP fibreglass ladders.
